Formed at the end of the previous decade by Daphn\u00e9 Brissette and Guillaume Chiasson to break new ground outside their previous practices, the group was soon joined by Etienne C\u00f4t\u00e9 (LUMI\u00c8RE), Melissa Fortin and Alex Burger - and soon delivered a homonymous debut album, celebrated as the best Franco of 2019 by Le Devoir journal and awarded the Lucien for Rock Album of the following year at GAMIQ. \r\n\r\nFrom the outset, the band's groovy pop sound borrowed notably from folk-rock and psych, and two years later they came back with Diorama, an even broader palette, incorporating aspects of image music, disco, hard rock and glam rock - a convincing combination that earned them the F\u00e9lix for Rock Album of the Year at the 2022 ADISQ gala. \r\n\r\nIt wasn't long before the band was touring Quebec, Europe and the U.K. - the beginning of a global craze that discredited the territorial issue of language in favor of good tunes. Sous ses allures de vari\u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8re et romantique se cache une profondeur, des textes sombres et un accompagnement musical travaill\u00e9, dont les sonorit\u00e9s contrebalancent des paroles pas forc\u00e9ment joyeuses mais toujours teint\u00e9es de po\u00e9sie. \r\n\r\nRomain, le c\u0153ur bris\u00e9 par une rupture r\u00e9cente, a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois de chanter en fran\u00e7ais pour mieux retranscrire sa douleur et exprimer ses sentiments tortur\u00e9s. Les textes parlent de sujets li\u00e9s \u00e0 la rupture, \u00e0 la souffrance amoureuse mais en restant suffisamment \u00e9vasif afin que le public s\u2019y identifie. Les chansons parlent du temps qui passe et efface les souvenirs, de l\u2019incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 changer le pass\u00e9, d\u2019apprendre \u00e0 oublier et \u00e0 pardonner. Les sentiments comme force, les faiblesses assum\u00e9es et l\u2019ouverture \u00e0 l\u2019autre en toute sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9 sont des th\u00e8mes v\u00e9hicul\u00e9s par le groupe afin de questionner l\u2019auditeur\u2e31e sur le fait d\u2019assumer sa fragilit\u00e9 ou encore le deuil d\u2019une relation d\u00e9finitivement vou\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chec. \r\n\r\nLa musique se veut la plupart du temps lumineuse voire optimiste. Les textes qui auraient pu para\u00eetre plombants, sont alors promesse de courage et de r\u00e9silience. Sur sc\u00e8ne tout est jou\u00e9 live, le but est de rester le plus flexible par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation, aux al\u00e9as du concert et du public. Les musiciens  sont au service de la voix.
