Burnside\r\n\r\nIn 2026, Belgian alternative blues-rock band\u00a0Boogie Beasts\u00a0mark their 15th anniversary \u2014 and they\u2019re doing it in style, by also honouring what would have been the 100th birthday of one of their biggest musical heroes: blues legend\u00a0R.L. Burnside.\r\n\r\nTo celebrate the double milestone, the band is releasing a brand-new album,\u00a0Don't Be So Mean, along with a fiery new live show: a heartfelt tribute to Burnside and the raw, hypnotic blues that shaped their sound.\r\n\r\nThe album is the result of a\u00a0one-of-a-kind transatlantic collaboration\u00a0between European and American musicians \u2014 some of whom actually shared the stage with Burnside himself.
