Al meer dan 50 jaar werken de NITS aan een eigenzinnig “body of work” van meer dan 35 albums en van stilstand is geen sprake. Werk aan nieuw materiaal is altijd in volle gang, evenals de tournee. Geen enkel concert is hetzelfde, er is veel ruimte voor improvisatie, de arrangementen verschuiven steeds, maar de muziek blijft helder, gebouwd op een laag van melancholie, schoonheid en intensiteit. Een concert met een setlist vol verrassende keuzes uit hun grote oeuvre, gemengd met klassiekers als Nescio, JOS Days en In The Dutch Mountains.  // For over 50 years, the NITS have been building a distinctive ‘body of work’ comprising more than 35 albums, and there’s no sign of them slowing down. Work on new material is always in full swing, as is their touring schedule. No two concerts are the same; there’s plenty of scope for improvisation, and the arrangements are constantly evolving, yet the music remains clear, built upon a foundation of melancholy, beauty and intensity. A concert with a set list full of surprising choices from their extensive body of work, mixed with classics such as ‘Nescio’, ‘JOS Days’ and ‘In The Dutch Mountains’.
