BARBARA PRAVI
Barbara Pravi is a singer-songwriter known for her commitment to women’s rights, notably through her powerful speeches every March 8th since 2018.
In 2021, she represented France at Eurovision and earned second place with her song “Voilà”, which became an international anthem (certified Diamond internationally and Platinum in France).
That same year, she received the SACEM Grand Prize for Song of the Year and was crowned Best Female Newcomer at the 2022 Victoires de la Musique awards with her album “On n’enferme pas les oiseaux”.
After a 120-date sold-out tour across more than 20 countries, including two sold-out Trianon shows and a full Olympia, she has proven herself to be an artist who sings, vibrates, and lives through and for her audience.
She says her concerts are shows, because they’re more than just a vocal performance. And it’s true—she doesn’t just sing, she tells stories. When she dances, one might wonder if she comes from Africa, Israel, or a bird’s nest. When she sings, she smiles, and sometimes, when the song ends, she raises her fist.
She sometimes rolls her “r”s like in old INA archives, but says her “j”s and “s”s with the playfulness of a child hiding a tiny candy in their mouth. With all her flesh, with all her heart. She brings people together. She captivates. She wraps you up. And she sweeps everything in her path.
After a year-long break and a brief foray into cinema, she made her comeback in January 2024 with a new single, “Bravo”, which quickly made its mark on the French music scene.
Barbara Pravi will release her second album “La Pieva” on September 6th and will perform at L’Olympia on April 17th, 2025, following three sold-out shows at La Cigale in just a few months.
