NICOLAS MICHAUX

Nicolas Michaux is a Belgian author, composer and producer. He divides his time between
Brussels, where he is a member of the Capitane Collective production collective, and Samsø Island in
where he lives with his two daughters.
Michaux writes and sings in English and French, consciously standing at the crossroads of different
traditions. And yet Michaux is guided by a deeply personal and autonomous
style and spirit.
His recordings, homemade and realistic, almost documentary in nature, testify to a life spent
of a life spent listening.

rooted in a deep consideration of instruments and the textures they evoke.

First there was A La Vie à La Mort, Michaux’s remarkable debut album released on the Parisian label
