LISETTE LOMBÉ & CLOÉ DU TRÈFLE – BRÛLER DANSER

Brûler Danser is the title of the show and concept album created by Lisette Lombé and Cloé du Trèfle. It’s the meeting of slam and electronic music, a meeting born of confinement.

After some fifty dates, and given the buzz around Brûler Danser, it was an obvious choice for the duo to produce this album and release it on vinyl. The album is due for release on October 6. Conceived and produced entirely by Cloé du Trèfle and Lisette Lombé, Brûler Danser is made up of 9 interlocking sequences in which Lisette Lombé reveals the full power of her writing and gives voice to her heroine, Remontada.

Remontada fights for herself, with no designated enemy other than time, which leaves its mark. Through dance, she makes her way towards reclaiming herself. In the process, she sets herself ablaze. Remontada inspires Cloé du Trèfle’s incandescent, organic composition, which moves from delicate layers to furious bass. The musician’s notes and the poet’s body, words and sounds, collide until they ignite.

Somewhere between musical philosophy and pulsating poetry, Brûler Danser invites us to celebrate a nocturnal journey and the dawn after the tumult of the night.

This album, recorded by Cloé in the Trèfle studio in Brussels, mixed by Etienne Caylou and mastered at Jet Studio, is to be heard as a shared need for resilience after the post-traumatic shock of confinement.
