COMPACT DISK DUMMIES

Since their inception, Compact Disk Dummies have had a single goal: to get their audience moving, and judging by their new album “The Signal”, they are clearly staying true to their mantra.
The singles ‘There’s No Sex Without You’ and ‘fomo’ already hinted at an excellent album and won over radio stations and audiences alike, who cheered them en masse at Werchter and Pukkelpop in the summer of 2023.
“The Signal” is the band’s third studio album, following ‘Silver Souls’ (2016) and ‘Neon Fever Dream’ (2020), whose promotion was cut short by the pandemic. Nonetheless, the two brothers have managed to impose their style thanks to their inventive online campaigns.

And they’ve been busy ever since. In February 2023, they set the mood at Vooruit, released a VRTMAX documentary, and later that year played to a full house at the Ancienne Belgique.

But while they obviously appreciate past successes, the Dummies are more of a forward-thinking bunch. As one of the up-and-coming bands on the Belgian scene today, they’ve already got two sold-out shows at La Roma in Antwerp, several club dates in the Netherlands on their schedule for 2024, and they have every intention of making you dance at festivals this summer with their brand-new album.
The signal is clear: it’s showtime! See you at Reflektor on November 30!
