The brainchild of Kevin Starrs, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats have been making extraordinary music since 2009. Always too bold and idiosyncratic to be easily pigeonholed, they emerged from an obscure corner of the labyrinthine British underground as purveyors of a new and overwhelmingly psychedelic take on the gritty rudiments of hard rock and downer blues. Masterfully echoing the magical atmospheres of heavy music’s turbulent past while sounding entirely unlike anything else available to human ears. Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats continues to be the deadliest show in town.

Influenced greatly by Seattle’s sludge metal scene, Boris formed in Tokyo in 1992, taking their name from the eponymous Melvins song, and debuting as a drone metal band with the 1996 album, Absolutego. Willfully eclectic, Boris has amassed a sizable discography with nearly thirty studio albums and dozens of EPs. In 2005, Boris released the album Pink, which amalgamated all their previous styles, providing a diverse and expansive and widely acclaimed listening experience. Travelling from their home base Dortmund, the power rock trio Daily Thompson have spent a lot of time on the road. Inspired by bands like Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Alice In Chains, and The Smashing Pumpkins, they are known for their massive, fuzzy, distorted guitars, and melodic hooks. They sure know how to rock a psych groove, but their blend of two distinct lead vocals is where the hidden force lies.
