UNCLE ACID AND THE DEADBEATS (UK)
The brainchild of Kevin Starrs, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats have been making extraordinary music since 2009. Always too bold and idiosyncratic to be easily pigeonholed, they emerged from an obscure corner of the labyrinthine British underground as purveyors of a new and overwhelmingly psychedelic take on the gritty rudiments of hard rock and downer blues. Masterfully echoing the magical atmospheres of heavy music’s turbulent past while sounding entirely unlike anything else available to human ears. Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats continues to be the deadliest show in town.

Rooted in heavy rock and psychedelic traditions, 1000mods seamlessly blend classic 70s rock influences with a gritty modern edge, crafting anthems that resonate deeply with fans around the world. Renowned for their DIY ethos and electrifying stage presence, 1000mods has solidified their reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the genre where they continue to push boundaries and captivate fans worldwide.
AHAB
German doom and sludge metal outfit Ahab are so infatuated with oceans, they had a sticker placed on The Call of the Wretched Sea, their 2006 debut long-player that described their music to inquisitive punters as “Nautik Funeral Doom.” Each recording since has carried a nautical theme in its title. Get soaked into Ahab’s heavy tidal wave!
BORIS
Influenced greatly by Seattle’s sludge metal scene, Boris formed in Tokyo in 1992, taking their name from the eponymous Melvins song, and debuting as a drone metal band with the 1996 album, Absolutego. Willfully eclectic, Boris has amassed a sizable discography with nearly thirty studio albums and dozens of EPs. In 2005, Boris released the album Pink, which amalgamated all their previous styles, providing a diverse and expansive and widely acclaimed listening experience. DAILY THOMPSON
Travelling from their home base Dortmund, the power rock trio Daily Thompson have spent a lot of time on the road. Inspired by bands like Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Alice In Chains, and The Smashing Pumpkins, they are known for their massive, fuzzy, distorted guitars, and melodic hooks. They sure know how to rock a psych groove, but their blend of two distinct lead vocals is where the hidden force lies.
DEATHCHANT
DEATHCHANT are a Los Angeles based four piece band formed in 2018 blending raucous rock and roll and New Wave of British Heavy Metal, with a heavy nod to the golden era of guitar harmonies and Marshall full stacks. Their music shifts from interwoven melodic runs to noise drenched sonic raids with an energy that notoriously sticks with fans long after shows end.

Texan heavy rock ‘n’ rollers under the banner of Duel are a joy to witness live due to their effortless charisma and a bucketful of lethal riffs they always carry along. Inspired by 70s proto-metal sound and aesthetic, Duel take it a step further and spice up the formula with a fat dose of psychoactive magic. GREENLEAF
Like clockwork, Swedish stoner rockers GREENLEAF spread their concentrated sludgy energy to disciples of the genre by releasing Echoes From A Mass in 2021, the successor to their 2018 epic, Hear The Rivers. The album opener, “Tides”, immediately draws the listener into a swirl of guitar driven soundscapes, while Arvid Hällagård’s remarkable voice merges with hypnotizing background vocals, ceremonially inviting the listener into a heavy reverie. Green leaves in autumn? Something massive to look forward to!
HIPPIE DEATH CULT
Hippie Death Cult’s journey through shameless and triumphant artistic expression has led them to become a vibrant force in the realms of psychedelia and riff-heavy rock n’ roll. This journey has not been without its challenges, but the band has always managed to emerge stronger and more determined than ever. Throughout their formative years, the band underwent what proved to be a very significant evolution, transitioning to a more cohesive and harmonious power trio today.
KHEMMIS
Formed in 2012 in Denver USA, doomed heavy metal outfit KHEMMIS has released a body of work which paints a unique portrait of the human condition, weaving together influences from all corners of the metal music world. They transcend the genre boundaries of traditional doom metal with their elegant yet dramatic compositions and a diverse array of influences. Come and bear witness to KHEMMIS doomed chemistry!
KOMBYNAT ROBOTRON
With driving rhythms, repetitive riffs and spherical soundscapes, Kombynat Robotron create a hypnotic sound that blurs the boundaries between krautrock, psychedelic,
punk and noise rock. The Kiel-based trio has been an integral part of the European underground psychedelic rock scene since its formation in 2018. Their live shows are regarded as energetic sound trips where every performance is unique. The message of the band is loud and clear: “Wir fliegen zu den Sternen! Robotron over.”
KRALLICE
Krallice hail from New York City and are known for their experimental, highly technical style of black metal. The band’s music features dense multi-tracked guitars often performing fast, precise tremolo-picked guitar parts. Wyatt E.’s music can be described as ritual doom and drone. The band writes the soundtrack of a travel in the past which leads to ancient Gods, forgotten cities and lost civilisations. Intrigued? Come and behold Wyatt E.!
