FEDER
Feder doesn’t do anything like everyone else. In 2015, Hadrien Federiconi chose the heady ‘Goodbye’ as his introduction to the public. Good luck to him, as his 1st single, far from being a farewell, quickly reached #1 on iTunes in 22 countries and topped the Shazam France charts for 7 weeks in a row (a record for 2015). Since then, Feder has established himself as an essential pillar of the French electro scene. His magic recipe remains unchanged today: Thoughtful beats, addictive melodies and an innate sense of the synthetic twist.
While today’s productions race for simplicity to seduce, the producer from Nice goes against his peers, intellectualising his music, putting it through the mill, embellishing it with sounds each more twisted and researched than the last to achieve a result that is both accessible and terribly hypnotic. It’s a formula that’s paying off, as evidenced by the immediate success of ‘Lordly’ (the official anthem of the Handball World Championship) and ‘Breathe’, from the EP of the same name, accompanied by a video clip directed by avant-garde British photographer Rankin. An artist with a strong, polished and captivating image.
On the strength of these successes, Hadrien Federiconi decided to take on a new challenge by teaming up with up-and-coming electro star Jen Jis to produce ‘Keep Us Apart’, a track whose sound cleverly plays with the artistic lines of the two producers. He then continued to surprise his audience, this time producing 6 tracks for the new album by Mylène Farmer, the French singer who has sold the most records (over 30 million) and holds the record for the most diamond discs. Feder then turned to hip-hop influences for inspiration, working with Dan Caplen (voice of Rudimental Macklemore & Jess Glyne’s worldwide hit ‘These Days’) and Bryce Vine on Control. He followed this up with a track with rapper Sadek for a completely offbeat tribute to the French capital, Parigo. This unique collaboration combines the influences of the two artists, fast-paced electro production and chiselled lyrics to paint an idle picture of modern Paris. In 2024, he returned with a series of hybrid tracks, including Kayes, an Afro-house UFO with an irresistible rhythm.
Now with 1.5 billion streams on the platforms and 300 million Youtube views, and always eager for new collaborations, Feder is constantly proving that he is not just a DJ but a complete artist-producer, from the studio to the stage.
After curating his sold-out SAFANA series of events in Clairière, Paris during the summer of 2024, Feder is returning for a mini European tour in 2025.
